The First Battle of Grozny, which took place in 1996, is regarded as the epitome of “Modern Stalingrad”. Following brutal urban combat, both sides sustained heavy losses and the city of Grozny was ruined. The map itself comes with a huge city area with a construction site (with crane), grafitti, sexy and custom apartment buildings, a palace of culture with full interior (cafeteria, meeting area, etc), an office space which has been repurposed as a military stronghold (also full interior with sandbagged windows and whatnot) - it has rubble everywhere with BTRs, tank traps, destroyed cars, etc literring the parking lot. There is also a multifloor car park with beautiful lighting. Lighting wise, the map looks amazing and it is set to future. The city also has a military base and city boundary markers - there are road overhangs etc to make the experience super realistic and grounded. The city then crosses into a rural area with beautiful trees and terrain - farms etc ofc - that realistically mimics Grozny in 2000. The town area comes with a shop, townhouses with interior, farms, etc. It then crosses into a military checkpoint area where the river is and the military exclusion zone is started. The military base has 2 sections - a live fire range and a main military area which has custom tanks, rally areas, etc. The live fire range has destroyed buildings etc. Spotted around the map is a large amount of destroyed tanks etc to give the feeling of a run-down warzone.
